We hooked up with Phil Meyer and Jonas Delonge in Verbier and we headed under the mountain to Italy. Crossing the tunnel we noticed fresh snow in the trees, and huge snow banks, it was noticeably better.

Italy was so sick, the locals claim it’s been the best year in 25 years, I believe it. And one of the Mysticfreeride.com guys just emailed me saying there expecting another 80cm!!! If you have the chance get your stuff packed and go to Italy. We stayed at the Squirrel Hotel and there’s wicked pub called the Castor, that’s right the Beaver and they love the hole Freeride scene thingny.

I’m trying to put something together on the whole trip with lots of sick pics, stay tuned…

We made it to Englerberg a few days ago, pretty cool little valley. They didn’t get new snow in a few weeks so were leaving today for Italy, word is they just got 35cm. We stayed in the skiers lodge, a new hotel run by Swedish skiers. They have there stuff dialed, awesome food, great staff, good atmosphere…If your ever in Engelberg check it out www.skilodgeengelberg.com

We made it to Switzerland on the night of the first.Nice blower powder all over the mountains. The last two days were sick, we already got some stuff to work with. Working with Treadway and Cromwell is pretty rad, they got the Swiss thing dialed. It’s amazing how small the ski world actually is, running into friends in the streets of Verbier etc… Awesome, I love it!

Swiss tourism hooked us up with rail pass, so we are jumping on the train to Engelberg. I hope the snow there blower. Will soon find out.

Happy holidays! We rocked down DOA today with some friends, it was awesome. Eat lots of good food and ski fast. Here are a few pics of today on the Peak.
